Today I just received this little cutie called the Redi-Set-Go I'm just loving it.  Here is a picture of what it looks like.  This is my first item that I've cooked with it I used 3/4 cup of boxed cake mix 1/4 cup of water and then 1 egg mix and poor into the little cups.  I cooked them for about 7 minutes and I was finished.  It was really fun.

Next Project Today

Now I'm ready to start my middle sons quilt for Christmas it will also be a log cabin, just love these quilts.  The thing I like about them is they really are fast and I feel like I'm getting so much done.  I already have my youngest son and his wifes quilt done.  It is an asian quilt really turned out beautiful.  I will put pictures up when I get some of it done.  He wanted black and red I also talked him into doing different shades along with some green we will see how it comes out.

Another Almost Finished Christmas Gift

Boy I'm surprising myself I've gotten so much done over the last several days.  I'm trying to get things done in advance for Christmas, well this will be a first.  I just finished doing the top for my oldest son, he didn't want anything frilly so I ended up doing him a log cabin which I thought came out really cool.  The colors to me are very masculine so he should like it.  Here is a picture without the borders yet.

Hoi Toi Bag For GD 16th Birthday

I love making these bags they are so big and roomy my gd asked for about a year to make her one, finally did that for her 16th birthday.  She loves florals and thought this fabric was gorgeous.  I just love making things for her because she really does appreciate them.

Cute Sewing Bag

This is a bag I made taking a class at my quilt shop in town, it was really fun and I just love the bag.  I'm going to make one of these for my gd for Christmas.

Another Log Cabin For DH Brother

This is another log cabin quilt that I just finished for dh brother this is the brother that gave his kidney for transplant to his younger brother.  Hope he will like this.  I still have to make labels for both of the quilt but here is a picture of it finished.

Another UFO Completed

This is a quilt that I have been working on for my husbands brother.  He had a kidney transplant about a month ago and doing very well with recovery.  I think he is really going to like this little lap quilt at least I hope so.  The first picture is with the 2 side borders completed.  This second picture is with all of the borders done and ready for my quilt frame.  I'm going to use varigated thread it should really be pretty.

One Christmas Present Almost Finished

Well here is a quilt top that I'm working on for my grandson.  I thought the fabric was so very cute it is all pirate stuff.  What I will be doing is when I quilt it I'm going to probably put ships all over the borders, not sure what I will do in the blocks.  Here is a picture I took a picture of just the block also.  Block is 12 1/2 in unfinished.  I just finished putting the borders on.  Just love this quilt I think he will just love it.  Preston is going to be 3 years old so I think it is just perfect.  I'm now going to start doing my oldest grandson a quilt and he loves Sponge Bob so it should be lots of fun to make.

Sewing Today All Day

Oh boy today is sewing for me all day.  I'm in the middle of making a sewing bag for my girlfriend who's birthday is on the 21st.  I'm doing it in her colors which is cobalt blue.  Hope she will like it they are really fun to do.

My middle sons birthday who will be 35 on the 4th his birthday present is already bought.  I couldn't believe he wanted one of those Davey Crockett raccoon hats so that's what we got him.  Hopefully it will be delivered on time.

Then it is my granddaughter's birthday on the 24th and yep it is a special one, she is our first grandchild who will be 16 years old.  OMG that makes me really old....lol.  Well on to sewing I'm so excited.  Will post pictures of my completed bag when I get it done.
