Labradoodle Puppies
Well one of these cute little pups will be ours in the very near future. I can't wait to find out which one it will be. I do know it will be a female named Hunter Paige. The two mommies are pictured below.
Splash Of White
I entered this quilt in the Roseburg, OR quilt show April 11, 2014. I was so shocked I ended up winning a first place ribbon. This is the first quilt I have ever entered and I was just shocked. I started this quilt in 2010 and of course I just finished it so not too bad for 4 years....lol. This quilt has been a UFO for a long time, but glad to have been able to finish in time for the show. I quilted this using my Bernina 830 with my Quilters Creative Touch System. The pattern I used was a sewing theme to match the theme of the quilt, variegated thread was also used.

Entry For 2014
Wow it has been awhile since I have posted and a lot has happened in my life since the last time I wrote. We are now living in a cute little cottage at Spring Meadows in Grants Pass. We moved from the country because my dh is now doing dialysis 3 days a week and living in the city is much better for us. I have lots more time to quilt and just do some fun stuff. Hopefully I will try and post with pictures of what I have been doing with my hobbies.
I am also very busy right now because my oldest son is getting married to a wonderful girl in Aug of this year, I have taken on several projects that they have asked me to do. I am thrilled to be a part of their wedding since I live in Oregon and they are in California.
These pictures are of our little cottage.

Civil War BOM
This is a Civil War Quilt I have been working on and off for the last couple of years. It is really difficult one because it is basically all triangles so dealing with the bias on the entire quilt. I do love it though just need to take my time with it. This picture is 4 months worth it is the center piece of the quilt. I really can't wait to get it quilted because the quilting should be lots of fun, I intend to quilt it with civil war theme.
Crafty's BOM
I am using black, red and white to make this block of the month presented by Crafty's. I have become so unmotivated for some reason that I have only finished thr first 4 months. I am hoping I can get back into it as soon as the weather gets cooler. I really do love these colors together.
Double Irish Chain
This is the first quilt that I quilted with Bernina's Creative Quilter's Touch, automated quilting system. I love this entire system that I have, I am using it with the Bernina 820 and I think for the first one it came out really good, I was happy. This was a pretty big quilt also it was 101 x 101. I did my quilt with all batiks which is my favorite fabric.
Baby's Ashtyn's Owl Wallhanging
Baby Ashtyn's Owl Wallhanging
I had so much fun making this bright colored Owl Wallhanging. I made it for my youngest granddaughter when she was born. Her mommy did her bedroom in an Owl Theme, it fit in just perfectly. Now that she is almost 2 years old she has her mommy take it off the wall so she can play with it. I just thought this was one of the cutest patterns it was all appliquéd.

Block of the Month 2012
These are my first 2 blocks for January 2012. We will end up with 2 blocks per month for a total of 20 blocks by the end I think the last 2 months will be for putting it all together and quilting the finished top. This should be lots of fun.
